A Day in the Life of a Sound Healer in San Diego - 3 Sound Baths, Service, and Alignment
Today was one of those days where everything felt aligned with my purpose.
From early morning to evening, I moved through three sound baths across San Diego, connecting with community, supporting educators, and holding space for rest and nervous system healing. These are the days that remind me why I stepped into sound healing in the first place.
If you’ve ever been curious about what a sound bath in San Diego looks like behind the scenes, this is a real glimpse into the work, the flow, and the heart behind it.
Morning: Sound Bath for Leadership at Neighborhood House Association
I started my day early at my full-time role with Neighborhood House Association, where I had the opportunity to host a sound bath for our co-op leadership team.
Being able to offer rest and relaxation in a professional setting is something I care deeply about. So many people are pouring into others all day long, especially in nonprofit and early childhood education spaces.
To pause together, breathe together, and experience sound healing as a team was incredibly special.
This is also a big part of my work, bringing corporate and organizational sound baths in San Diego to teams who need support with stress, burnout, and nervous system regulation.
Midday Reset: Power Pilates in Clairemont
On my lunch break, I checked out Honor Pilates for their Power Pilates class.
Wow. It was a challenge in the best way.
If you’ve taken classes like Club Pilates or Solidcore, you’ll feel right at home. The reformers were super intuitive, the space had such a vibe, and the energy was strong.
They also have the cutest merch and a coffee and matcha machine, just bring your own cup.
I love weaving movement like Pilates into my week because it complements sound healing so well. Both support the body in different but powerful ways.
Afternoon: Supporting Teachers Through Sound Healing
After lunch, I headed to McGill School of Success, one of our Head Start collaboration sites, to facilitate another sound bath for teachers.
This one hit deep.
Supporting educators through somatic practices like sound healing feels so aligned with my mission. Teachers are constantly giving to the next generation, and they deserve spaces to receive, to rest, and to regulate their nervous systems.
This is why I’m so passionate about expanding access to sound baths for schools, educators, and community organizations in San Diego.
Evening: Community Sound Bath at Vibrant Life Yoga
After a quick reset at home, I headed to my third and final sound bath of the day.
Once a month, I host a free community sound bath in San Diego in collaboration with The Phoenix, an incredible nonprofit that supports individuals who are sober and in recovery.
All that is required to attend is 48 hours of continuous sobriety.
I’ve been offering these sessions for almost a year now, and it has been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.
I first started hosting free sound baths at local libraries, and through that path, I connected with Rita, the owner of Vibrant Life Yoga. Now we host these monthly gatherings in her beautiful studio.
The space is calm, intentional, and fully supported with mats, blankets, and bolsters. People just have to show up as they are.

Feeling Aligned + Grateful
This week alone, I’ve facilitated five sound baths in San Diego, with one more scheduled this Saturday at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa.
That makes six sound baths in one week.
I don’t take that lightly.
I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share sound healing with my community, from leadership teams to teachers to recovery spaces.
This work is about more than relaxation. It’s about connection, regulation, and creating space for people to come back to themselves.
Alaska Retreat + Private Sound Baths
I’m also currently planning my upcoming retreat in Hoonah, Alaska, and I can’t wait to share more soon.
